Pooh therapy making a revival for the last couple of years. Ironic. I looked this up ten years ago or so. Stool therapy administered to Russian soldiers during WWI for infections. I can't remember the exact content of the article. I was so very tempted to try this therapy back then, decided against it being too frail suffering multisystemic symptoms. Reuters mentioned stool transplant therapy being a challenge for Big Pharma, uk.reuters.com/article/2012/11/30/us-bacteria-stool-treatment-idUKBRE8AT09D20121130?feedType=RSS&feedName=healthNewsJournal "Microbiome" published a study a few days ago, about two patients suffering infection froom C. difficile, recovering within three days of treatment, and no recurrence six months later.
