Well, 15 years of misery, (several ADRS + vaccines), unable to work, severely disabled, horrid symptoms, and a long list of "diagnosis", still holding on. The turning point for me, was when I started seeing a Qi Master/Sifu, since last December. I was close to conking out, literally. Placebo? Me think not. Qi Gong therapy works!! For the last two months I started practicing specific Qi Gong moves, (supervised) two hours daily. (some practice 8 hours daily). These sequences of moves, can be practiced lying down, sitting down, or standing up, adjusting to the level of disability and weakness. It works slowly, is painful, and boring - small price to pay to repair deep cellular damage. Will there be recovery? I am confident that six months from now, I should be returning to work, even if part time, or continue studying. It was unthinkable almost a year ago. There have been hours and days throughout the years, when I thought I was on my way to recovery, to be cruelly assaulted by multiple symptoms. This is different, in the sense that, instead of few good hours or days, its a gentle, subtle, linear progression, minus spikes. The progression depends entirely on dedication, practice, motivation, and the will to repair damage, in order to regain health.Hoping you all find you healing path, the will to continue, and the courage to see this through. Healing thoughts to everyone.

Thank you very much for sharing your experiences with us. For me meditation and some mental exercises (Qi Gong) were helpful during these years. During better times I am doing Qi Gong moves, which are gentle. I just have the impression these things are doing my whole person good (body and soul). Because I have MCS I am forced to avoid many things. In 2008 I have been extreme sensitive and the area of my brain which is involved in processing music was badly damaged. Just a few weeks ago I noticed that I was able to hear kinds of music, which I had not been able to do for many years. So even in the area of the brain there is a chance of healing, even if it takes a long time. So never give up hope!
