Hi, since early schooltime I had problems with milk if I would drink it over a longer time. It stayed that way until I was floxed. Since then I would not drink milk. I am able to tolerate a special kind of normal cheese and a kind of yoghurt which has no lactose. I tried during the last days to drink small amounts of milk without lactose but I again feel nausea. I think it must have been something else. Many have problems with the casein, but I seem to be able to tolerate it. I just searched in the net and I stumbled over some informations in my language that benzoic acid and vanillin are naturally in milk. It is likely that I have problems with these substances. Are there other persons, who have these problems since they are floxed?

I read somewhere that over 15% of the population are lactose intolerant, but varous ethnic groups lack the enzyme to digest milk, due a deficient or lack of specific enzymes. As for myself, I was able to drink warm milk before ADRs, but not cold milk! Post ADRs, intolerance to milk both hot and cold, sometimes yogurt, cottage cheese and other dairy products. It lfuctuates. (Had no issue with those pre ADRs). Would be interesting to hear from others who developed similar issues with dairy prods post ADRs.

Yes, it would be interesting with what parts of the milk/dairy products people have problems. In my case I can exclude casein because I can tolerate normal cheese and I can exclude lactose because the milk I tried during the last days had been lactose free. I had tried to find informations about all substances in milk, but it seems to be difficult. I only get the normal informations about vitamins and minearals. It surprised me how much of good stuff is in milk! If I react against milk, I get nausea. If I notice this symptom I always stopped drinking milk. As a child when we didn't knew it was the milk which caused symptoms, I would have extreme pain. Today I assume it was the pancreas. The symtpoms always disappeared after I stopped drinking milk. I was always able to eat cheese or yogurt or similar sour products (before floxing) Through floxing the variety was limited because of other problems.
