I saw this post yesterday on FB, and thought it was funny. How so very true, reminds me a little of the The Truman Show with Jim Carey.
Tragic-comic, it made me LOL, !!! Positive rant, in the sense that there are options out there, most of it simple and free!! Stay away from doctors, ;D unless urgency such as trauma injuries or life/death situation. Eat nutritious foods, avoid stress and bla bla bla, we know the drill.
Food 4 thought: "Just look at us. Everything is backwards. Everything is upside-down. Doctors destroy health, lawyers destroy justice, universities destroy knowledge, governments destroy freedom, the major media destroy information, and religion destroys spirituality." Michael Ellner
Part II (fascinating)
Meeting lots of people who practiced either Qi Gong, (and Medical Qi Gong) Tai Chi or Yoga, meditation/visualization, altered their diet to suit their needs, some had to revert to eating baby foods such as well cooked pureed sweet potatoes, easy to digest, well cooked, not raw, no juicing, no detox, colonics etc... building up their enzymes and digestive system, life style modification, avoid watching TV, practicing playing music or some other form of art, and spending a lot of time in nature. Of everything I tried so far, this is what is helping me the most.. Its an internal process at first, and then follows the external. Either you try it and you "get it" or you don't. Its free, simple, and feels so good. You need to connect with yourself, listen to what your body is whispering, don't deafen (deathen) the whispers with theories, doctors and naturopaths, latest fads, or whatever, you won't hear it.

My own views on allopathic medicine are well known, already, amongst floxies. Heresy, I hear some say, ;D more flack, from some quarters, and so many times, abuse, and ridicule. Yet, the more I read, the clearer it becomes. The model that is allpathic medicine, reinforces my own concept and construct of what constitutes healing and curing. Other than trauma, it has little to offer. A while back I started to read a book written by a Dutch MD, called "Blessed by Illness" by L F Mees. It had a profound effect on me and help reaching the conclusion of what constitutes healing. The book was written in 1983. A gift from an ex a few years ago, himself a Professor of Anesthesiology, for whom I have the most profound respect. He understood!! The book is a potpourri of history of medicine, healing, mythology, science and facts. No fluff. The next book that touched me to the core, and blew my mind was the book by Kenneth S Cohen about the application of Qi Qong, called "The Way of Qi Gong The Art and Science of Chinese Healing" again, no fluff here. I read the book and continue to refer. Such a wealth of information, backed with some scientific research. Lastly, I am reading this book by Raymond Francis, M.Sc. "Never Be Sick Again" which explains how and why taking medicines do not work, but causes more disease state. He focuses on nutrition and toxicity, vits and supps, (might take some of those again someday). It reiterates much of what I write about, that disease, is caused by either lack of nutrients or toxins. And that there is one only one disease, with the common denominator being malfunction of cellular activities. Raymond Francis is a biochemist - graduated from MIT, can't be more prestigious than that. He experienced near death experience himself, from severe MCS, and an ADR from metronidazole!! The more doctors he consulted, the sicker. The book is a little repetitive, but, offers a shift in paradigm, much needed. In one of my previous posts, I wrote about one single cell there are approximately 6 trillions chemical reactions. Now, if those cells are dysfunctional, how on earth can medicine fix that? Francis R, (2002) discusses enzymes, and the importance to get the enzymes that "contains essential mineral atoms" functioning. He mentions that "enzymes that contain essential mineral atoms such as zinc, magnesium, iron and chromium" should be balanced. He goes on about the importance of nutrition and vits, supps and minerals. He writes about the Hunza people, who lived to 120 to 130 years old. (I read a book about this about 20 years ago, and found it fascinating). Till the recent advent of a road built from the villages to town centers, and introduction of processed foods. Similar to what happened to the Okinawa people. Till recently, they lived well over 100 years old. Feeling hopeful, and looking for solutions rather than dwelling on pain, disability, and limitations, is empowering. I am in a pain today, and not feeling quite ill, yet, doing the breathing and hands moves taught by my GM and reading Francis's book, gives me the courage and strength to keep forging ahead. The future will only look bleak if we allow it. Its not about fighting symptoms, killing infectious pathogens, assaulting a broken body with more chems, fads diet, vits and supps, but rather, enabling the healing process, at its own pace. Whichever path we choose for our own individual healing should be based on well informed decision. Healing thoughts for all of us.

Studies, show where good coping mechanism, positive attitudes etc . Self control, adaptation and positive psychological adjustment, optimism, are contributing factors lessening distress, anxiety, and depression. Dispositional optimism and coping: a meta-analytic review.Nes LS, Segerstrom SC. Source Department of Psychology, University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY 40506-0044, USA. Abstract The relation between dispositional optimism and better adjustment to diverse stressors may be attributable to optimism's effects on coping strategies. A meta-analytic review (K = 50, N = 11,629) examined the impact of dispositional optimism on coping. Dispositional optimism was found to be positively associated with approach coping strategies aiming to eliminate, reduce, or manage stressors or emotions (r = .17), and negatively associated with avoidance coping strategies seeking to ignore, avoid, or withdraw from stressors or emotions (r = -.21). Effect sizes were larger for the distinction between approach and avoidance coping strategies than for that between problem and emotion-focused coping. Meta-analytic findings also indicate that optimists may adjust their coping strategies to meet the demands of the stressors at hand, and that the optimism-coping relationship is strongest in English-speaking samples. www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16859439 Positive change following trauma and adversity: a review.Linley PA, Joseph S. Source Department of Psychology, University of Warwick, Coventry, United Kingdom. PAL8@le.ac.uk Abstract Empirical studies (n = 39) that documented positive change following trauma and adversity (e.g., posttraumatic growth, stress-related growth, perceived benefit, thriving; collectively described as adversarial growth) were reviewed. The review indicated that cognitive appraisal variables (threat, harm, and controllability), problem-focused, acceptance and positive reinterpretation coping, optimism, religion, cognitive processing, and positive affect were consistently associated with adversarial growth. The review revealed inconsistent associations between adversarial growth, sociodemographic variables (gender, age, education, and income), and psychological distress variables (e.g., depression, anxiety, posttraumatic stress disorder). However, the evidence showed that people who reported and maintained adversarial growth over time were less distressed subsequently. Methodological limitations and recommended future directions in adversarial growth research are discussed, and the implications of adversarial growth for clinical practice are briefly considered. www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15027788

Almost year ago, I contacted a man, called Bob Ellal. Why, because, he was a few steps away from death's door, and REFUSED to die... He survived bone lymphoma (cancer) stage IV, tried chemo, radiation, four times, stem cells to no avail, till he decided to opt for www.bobellal.com/Read his story here: www.albanyqigong.com/images/Using%20Qigong.pdf Since, I met many others, some in person, some on the internet - medical doctors, scientists, one a biomolecular scientist, all recovered from their so called "irreversible, incurable diseases" using the same method, with correct nutrition/diet, meditation, life style modification and There is nothing more powerful out there, that I experienced, certainly no meds - that had such an impact and a profound effect on cells. Stressing the importance of avoidance to exposure environmental or xenobiotics is of major importance for success, such as pollution, mold, medications, etc.. to help recovery. Recovery, cure, healing, takes a long time, and is feasible, as long as practice is kept up on a daily basis.

Hi Beebs, I visited his page and I found it interesting that he mentioned "standing like a tree". I used to do it during times, when I had very little energy left. I had th eimpression that it was doing me good and it may have been a reason why I had not lost muscles etc after I felt better several months later. Thank you for sharing it with us. Namid

Namid. Hi Namid: Standing Like A tree, yes, many variations. Its exciting. At first, could only do a few mins, then, 40 mins. Daily practice, sometimes one hour, sometimes two to three, intermittent sitting and other sequences whilst standing. It hurts and burns, but after a few weeks, one can feel sensation in various meridians, as well as emitting smells. Farting is also good, releases toxins, not the indigestion type of fart, its different. In Tai Chi, there are specific sequences triggering farting, lol, same as in Qi Gong. Now, that's its winter months, very hard. Can ony only stand five mins max... Keep on doing it though. Once I reach 50 mins, we will progress on to other sequences. Its incremental, and needs to be practiced daily. There are so many blockages that needs attention.... Those who are very ill, go to Chinese Qi Gong Hospitals or department of Qi Gong at General Hospitals to practice up to eight hours a day. At the beginning, I was more assiduous, the whole day focusing on various sequences, it worked well. I need to do go back to this. Still at Level One. Its worrying because I read some students never go beyond that level. They spend years dong the Standing Position, the crucial position to undo blockages and raise the Qi, but are unable to raise the Qi. They somehow don't do it correctly, don't understand how to be weightless, instead, putting weight on feet, heels or toes. Been practicing since September, and its only now, I am beginning to grasp this concept of weighlessness, as well as how it works physiologically, can't explain though, it has to be "felt" Someone wrote recently, that medicine chose biochemistry over studies over energy back around 1890, they should have chosen both. It only recently, that scientists are starting to focus on energy, such as ion channels, electromagnetic field in the heart, and other energies in the body. There is a movement in the USA of scientists focusing on bioenergetic medicine, but I think its a materialistic approach using computer algoriths with certain sounds. I read that Hulda Clark's Zapper (she was hunted out of the USA) is now being looked at out closely by orthodox scientists as a means to kill infectious pathogens. Likewise, the Rife Machine is gaining more attention From what I experienced and read, with Qi Gong, the only way of healing reversing cellular damage is for the patient to practice daily, enabling some biochemical reaction, with the help of some Qi transmission at first if too weak. Thereafter, practicing, and continue to practice daily, (incorporating breathing and meditation, visualization) or disease state will return for the majority. Although nothing is guaranteed, the success rate is much higher than any other modalities I came across. A health journalist doing some research concludes the same, that those who reversed the "irreversible", all did some type of energy works, specific nutrition, meditation, and breathing. Healing thoughts. Beebs PS. there seems to be some type of internal transformation taking place, whilst practicing Qi Gong, without trying. Character becomes more balanced, which changes the self thus dynamics of relationships changes for the better. ;D ;D There is an excellent book by Angela Hicks (TCM) doctor in regards to certain blockages and deficiencies leading to specific disease. Interesting book, discussing various life situation altering approaches to correct the deficiency leading to disease states.
