See the link below about an article in The Lancet. A meta-analysis in 50,000 participants over in 13 studies over a period of five years which shows that folic acid does not switch on oncogenic cells. This is contradictory to previous studies. I read another article recently, which says that its not the folic acid in supplements that triggers cancer, but a synthetic chemical in supplements. www.thelancet.com/journals/lancet/article/PIIS0140-6736%2812%2962001-7/abstract
