Was reminded about hypo/hyperglycemic attacks some of us suffer from. These vary in severity and fluctuate, until, for some, it turns into full blown Diabetes Type 2.
I was without those attacks for amonth, but had a nasty one this morning, thus, reading it upon it. Will self monitor for a few weeks and report to the GP. In anycase, I will self treat and will absolutely not taking insulin and other toxic meds.
I had been taking ginger and cinnamon (which I can now tolerate) for about a month. Its possible, that I will have to look at other therapeutic herbs etc.. unless the Qi Gong works for this too. I read of some diabetic who "recovered" post Qi treatments. Well, anything is possible.
Accumulated some links and some research over the years, and as already posted, ginger, garlic, and cinnamon are helpful.
I came across the Kino mug today, for the first time. Its a mug made from the bark and heartwood of the Kino tree in India. It helps prevent or manage diabetes.
Scientists in the West were looking at compounds contained in the Kino tree from which the mug is made.
Amongst many of it compounds, some lowers lipids and glucose, and has other therapeutic benefits for diabetic sufferers:
www.motherherbs.com/pterocarpus-marsupium-extract.html
Here is a list of interesting herbs (some common such as Fenugreek, garlic) used to approach diabetes from as many angles as possible:

Dr Julian Whittaker manufacturers his own supplement containing extracts of epicatechin and the heartwood has pterostilbene from the Kino tree:
Scroll down till you hit the "Kino Indian Mug" then scroll down further to see the list of compounds in Dr Whittaker's supps (have no financial ties with this prod, only passing on info) www.drwhitaker.com/legacy/glucose_essentials_mag0511.php?key=188745&utm_campaign=glucose_essentials_xbuyer_test&utm_source=loy-email-xbuyer-glucose-essentials-cvrtst&utm_medium=email&utm_content=053111_glucose_essentials_xbuyer_test&SC=129937
